The program consists of a tour of the most important cultural and historical sights of Dalmatia and visits to eco and ethno villages and rural households where attention will be paid to learning about cuisine, wine production, lifestyle, customs and historical events that have had a significant impact on life. The program includes visits to destinations such as the city of Split and Diklecijan's Palace, Klis Fortress, ethno village Kokorići, Vrgorac, Omiš and Radman's mills near Omis, Biokovo Gate rural tourism, farm Panj near Sinj and old villages where tradition has been preserved. In addition to historical and cultural tours, the tours include natural sights located nearby, such as the Blue and Red Lake near Imotski.
DAY 1 - Split
Arrival to Split and accommodation in a hotel. Meeting with a local guide, walk and sightseeing of the city centre: Diocletian's Palace, Peristyle, Vestibule, monument to Gregory of Nin and Marko Marulić, father of Croatian literature… Dinner in one of Split's restaurants. Overnight stay.
DAY 2 - Klis - Sinj - Panj
Breakfast. Drive to Klis Fortress and tour around the magnificent fortress with expert guidance. Continuation of the drive to town Sinj. Visiting Museum of Sinj Alka with expert guidance, Sinj Alka is the oldest manifestation held in Croatia for centuries. Drive to the farm Panj where a wine tasting will be organised, followed by the lunch made from traditional specialties of this region. Return to the hotel.
DAY 3 - Omiš - Radman's mills
After breakfast drive to Omiš a picturesque town on the mouth of beautiful Cetina river. A walk through the city and a boat ride on the river Cetina to the Radman’s mill picnic area. Is located in a unique location in a canyon on the banks of the river Cetina. In Radman’s mills, in the restaurant, a lunch will be served made from local specialties. Return to the hotel.
DAY 4 - Trogir - Kaštela
After breakfast departure to Trogir. Meeting with a local guide, and a tour of the old town, inscribed on the UNESCO Register of Cultural Heritage since 1997. Drive to Kaštela where there will be a tasting of local wine varieties and lunch in one of the restaurants. Return to the hotel.
DAY 5 - Makarska - Biokovo Gate
After breakfast drive to Makarska. A tour of the city accompanied by a local expert guide and a visit to the Presentation Center of the Biokovo Nature Park. Drive to the house of rural tourism Vrata Biokova where tasting of local specialties and lunch will be organised. Return to the hotel.
DAY 6 - Imotski Region
Breakfast. Drive to Imotski. Meeting with a local guide and a tour of the city center and the Franciscan monastery. Visiting two unique natural phenomena - the Blue and Red Lakes located in the immediate vicinity of the city. A tour of the surrounding villages where the traditional way of life has been preserved and visiting crystal clear river Vrljika. Lunch, which consists of traditional specialties of this region, will be served in one of the restaurants in the Imotski region. Tasting of the famous Imotski cake and tasting of wine varieties grown in this area. Accommodation in a hotel.
DAY 7 - Vrgorac - Ethno Village Kokorići
Breakfast. Departure to Vrgorac, a tour of the place that is a birthplace of Tin Ujević, the most important Croatian poet of the 20th century. Next is a trip to the ethno village Kukorići, a typical Dalmatian settlement, both in terms of the diversity of the content of life in it, and in terms of natural sights and architecture in which stone predominates. Here a lunch will be held, made from local products from this part of the Dalmatian hinterland. Drive to Split and hotel accommodation.
DAY 8 - Split
Breakfast. Leisure time in Split and return.
