Fort Dalmacija program includes a tour of the most important historical sights and sites in the area of ​​the Dalmatian coast and the Dalmatian hinterland, with an emphasis on fortifications. Visiting places that marked the history of this area will not leave anyone indifferent. With expert guidance and "Revival of history" programs visitors are provided with an unforgettable experience. Participants will learn about history of Dalmatia through stories of struggles, victories, defeats and all the turmoil throughout history that are so characteristic of this area. Occasionally participants become part of the history in interactive parts of the program.

DAY 1 - Split
Arrival in Split and accommodation in a hotel. Meeting with a local guide. Split sightseeing will offer a unique opportunity to learn what lead to construction of Diocletian’s Palace. This place is one of the most important roman palaces in the world because of its historical significance. A tour around Diocletian’s Palace and medieval part of Split with local tourist guide. Diocletian’s Palace is part of UNESCO protection as a world heritage site. During tour the group will enter St. Domnius Cathedral and Temple of Jupiter (Baptistery of the Cathedral) and visiting other main highlights of Split such as: Peristil, Vestibul, Central substructures of Diocletian’s Palace, Golden Gate, Cardo, Decumanus, Pjaca Square, Renaissance clock tower, Fruit Square, Venetian castle are other points of interest. Dinner in one of Split's restaurants. Overnight stay.
DAY 2 - Klis - Sinj
After breakfast drive to town Klis. Participation in the Living History of Klis Fortress program. Visitors are greeted by members of the historical military formation "Klis uskoci", in colorful uniforms and with original weapons. During guided through the fortress, they introduce them to the life of the defenders of Klis through history, battles with the Turks, medieval weapons and much more. After visiting the fortress and the museum collection, visitors can try archery and attend and participate in the Uskok performance - a duel with swords and spears, while the Uskok play traditional instruments and take care of the 'heroic' atmosphere and an unforgettable experience. Continue driving to Sinj. A walk through the city and a tour of the Sinjska Alka Museum with expert guidance. Return to the hotel.
DAY 3 - Omiš - Cetina
After breakfast drive to Omis. A walk through the city and a boat trip on the river Cetina, from Omiš to Radman’s mills excursion site. There will be held a unique program Traces of Omis Pirates in which participants will learn about the importance of Omis pirates, their way of life and struggle. The Radman's Mill picnic area is located in a unique location in a canyon on the banks of the Cetina River. Lunch in the restaurant made from local specialties. Return to the hotel.
DAY 4 - Krka National Park - Burnum
Breakfast. A pleasant drive to the Krka River National Park. Sightseeing of the national park, Skradinski buk, the highest travertine barrier in Europe and the center of the Krka National Park. According to the richness and peculiarities of endemic plant and animal communities Krka is of one of the most valuable ecosystems in Europe. A visit to Burnum near village Kistanje, a Roman settlement and military camp of great importance in this area. Return to the hotel.
DAY 5 - Trogir
After breakfast departure to Trogir. Trogir is a remarkable example of urban continuity. The orthogonal street plan of this island settlement dates back to the Hellenistic period and it was embellished by successive rulers with many fine public and domestic buildings and fortifications. In Trogir, entire historic old town is a defined as an UNESCO site and sightseeing will include a visit to St. Lawrence’s Cathedral, one of the best-preserved structures of the Romanesque art on the Adriatic coast. Sightseeing will also include Camerlengo fortress, City Hall, City Loggia and St. Lawrence square. Special emphasize will be on Kamerlengo Fortress built in the first half of the 15th century. The fortress is located on the southwestern end of the city and was used to defend the sea channel and access to the port and to accommodate the Venetian military crew. Return to the hotel.
DAY 6 - Trilj – Čačvina
Breakfast. Drive to town Trilj. A tour of Tilurium, a Roman military camp located in the area of ​​today's village Gardun near Trilj. Tilurium was built on a hill of exceptional strategic position. From Gardun there is a view of the Trilj field, and just below the hill flow the beautiful turquoise river Cetina. Along with Burnum, Tilurium was a only Roman military camp in the area of ​​today's Croatia. Drive to nearby site of Čačvina fort and sightseeing fortification remains. Return to the hotel.
DAY 7 - Imotski - Vrgorac
Breakfast. After breakfast drive to Imotski and visiting the fortress Topana, a fortress from the Ottoman period, located in a spectacular position above the Blue Lake. A tour of Red Lake, another spectacular karst phenomenon near Imotski. Continuing drive to Vrgorac and a tour of the tower known as the birthplace of Tin Ujević, the most important Croatian poet of the 20th century. Lunch at one of the restaurants. Return to the hotel.
DAY 8 - Split
Breakfast. End of service.

Hi everybody! I just wanted to let you know that we landed safely and are still mesmerised by our holiday. We enjoyed it every step of the way. We’re so sad it ended. So, thank you for the organization and being so cooperative entire time.

Where to begin?! What a wonderful experience. We had a great time in Dubrovnik. Special thanks to Tomislav who is so knowledgeable and kind. Restaurants in the city and in Konavle are just great. The dinner on the top station of the cable car with that panorama is something we will remember for the rest of our lives.
